Boot and bumper protection from dogs

Featured Replies

Hi all

For those of you who have pets, can I ask what are you using as boot and bumper protection, to stop scratches and scuffs and to try and protect the boot from loads of dog hairs and dirt etc.

Cheers

I use a dog box from Lintran, it’s expensive but it swaps from my Freelander 2 to my Superb estate.  If I was buying new, I’d go with Trans-k9 and their rubber bumper protector as the box has an emergency exit.

As DubVulture said, the trans-k9 stuff is bloody brilliant, quite a price tag though. I'm currently using a Travall Boot Mat (thick and heavy duty and super easy to clean) Travall Dog Guard (best I've ever used, seriously solid) and a Travall Boot Divider for when we have luggage and dogs in the boot, just splits it down the middle. But when we aren't going away with the dogs i just take the divider out 👍

Also just using a boot sill protector someone linked on here for jumping in and out can't remember the name though!

although I do have a German Shepherd so nothing is going to stop the dog hair......

I went for hatchbag too and then put a plastic tray over the top. The hatchbag cover works well and it's easy to quickly pull out and shake clean the plastic tray. I went for a non skoda brand tray which kept the cost low on the tray.

We  only have a smaller dog (springer spaniel) so have a 4Pet pro crate that will fit in either the Superb or the Karoq. The Superb has the Skoda grey plastic bumper protector fitted and the Karoq a similar one from rearguards.
