Thanks for that kentphil1 😁just got a price from stealers at £85 per side ! So looking for equivalents , that link was really useful how would I be able to access the complete catalogue?  Cheers paul

If you look above the banner for audi vw skoda etc, on the left hand side you will see a navigation string for the page, just click on the skoda octavia (oct) part, and it will take you to the main octavia catalogue. If you want to change brand altogether, click on the brand marque in the banner and start afresh as the screens come up for you.

Depending on your intended use (whether you intend to lower or not) check out Bilstein or Monroe to see if they have any offers.

I have also used bestpartstore.co.uk in the past for odd bits, but I have not used them for suspension, the prices were good and the quality of what I was buying was good for the price.

Hope it helps, others may have some suggestions for you also.

Thanks for the help with the catalogue it’s a really useful tool and sadly I will have many hours of fun in the future, I find it really good as a comparison with aftermarket components as it’s like pulling teeth trying to get a part number from the dealers around here as they say they can’t giv3 them out it’s against their policy !

cheers Paul

Some alternatives to oemepc (malware afflicted allegedly) are 7zap.com and nemigaparts.com.  I can't guarantee that either of those are free from such problems, but I've never heard of any.

Another site you may find useful is oemwolf.com

There you can enter a part number (without spaces), click 'Find it' and it will let you know if there is a superseding part number (and what it is).

Thanks for the extra parts and info links, Pete.  Added to my list of sources ...
