Hi,

I have an annoying rattle coming from within the large plastice trim on my '99 Octavia Estate. It's not the trim itself but something within, I'm guessing either a part of the Wiper Asembly or washer fluid hose or a cable to the number plate lights. The rattle is minor, but it's the only one I have and I am a rattle obsessive. I feel sure that if I could remove the trim I could fix it. I have given it a couple of tugs and it feels likely that if I pulled hard enough it would come off, but I don't know this is the correct method of removal or if I would just be breaking it and not be able to replace it. I feel like I've aged 10 years waiting for the Haynes Manual to come out, does anybody know what I should do?

Start from the edge nearest the screen and pull downwards.

50/50 chance of it breaking or not, 100% chance you will mess around for ages getting it back on.
