VRS wheels for a mk2

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I currently have a pretty tired looking set of Pegasus 17 inch wheels on my BKD estate.

I am thinking of replacing them with some oem alloys off a mk2 VRS, but the ones I have found appear to be 18 inch and not 17 inch?

Can someone please confirm whether the MK2 VRS alloys come in 17s, 18s or both?

Thanks in advance!

IIRC the MK2 usually had the 18" wheels as part of a free upgrade. There was probably more 18 than 17's sold.

Thanks John

You can get 17" Dorado Alloys for a MKIII Vrs.They should fit a MKII.  They were fitted as standard on a Cyprus Spec MKIII Vrs. I had a set as winter wheels  225/45/17 tyres

There's a set on eBay for sale

There's details of all alloys fitted to mk2 Octys here:

Had both

17" with 225/45r17

18" with 225/40r18.

I've tried both sizes and several more and I prefer the 17" because I live in an area with poor roads and lots of speed humps.
