All,

 

I am going to take the plunge and update my SatNav with the 2018/2019 maps.  I have backed up the existing files, and downloaded the Maps for 2018/2019.

 

As I am using a Mac is there anything I need to do / consider which might stop the process working?

 

Any words of wisdom from Mac users who have done the update would be welcome.

macOS has a habit of adding files with a filename beginning (dot) these often upset the sat nav update, so it's worth installing either BlueHarvest or CleanEject on your mac to remove these files from the SD card/USB stick.

I use a Mac and I haven’t had to do anything differently for map updates.

All sorted, update done and working 😀
