iPhone Siri responds via Phone call

Hello,

I have a 2014 Skoda Octavia vRS.  I connect my iPhone (Pro with iOS13) to my car via Bluetooth, as it doesn't support Apple CarPlay.   Everything works, streaming music, making phone calls etc.  The only thing that's odd is when I tell Siri to do something it responds by making a call to myself using the car.  I can't hear the response but can see the response on the phone screen.  Then the call disconnects.  I've got a support case open with Apple.  However I'm intrigued to see if anyone else has had the same issue?
