Enabled two VCDS codes and cleared faults, turning headlights stopped turning while steering

Featured Replies

As the title says, after enabling two VCDS codes, turning headlights stopped turning while steering:

  • first (enabled, works)
  • 2nd (I was about to do this, but wasn't too sure about it, so I didn't do anything, just backtracked)
  • 3rd ( same here)
  • 4th (enabled, works)

After that I did the automated fault scan of every system. It found some, saved those to .txt. Wiped the fault codes, car beeped, saved the results again. Waited for the few seconds because VCDS told me so, then closed the VCDS and took off the HEX-V2. I did nothing else.

Started the car, and immediately noticed that the headlights weren't turning anymore while I turned the steering wheel. Went to the Maxidot display to see if the light assists were on, they were. What went wrong and how to enable the turning headlights again?

Go back to square one as per pre scan if you have done one. Then do one coding at the time and check for result and any possible "malfunction".
