Recent work by Skoda now screen washing leaking

Featured Replies

We have had to had the fuel pipes on the manifold replaced recently on our 3 year old Yeti (not sure the exact work but they said they had to take the manifold off)

Skoda did the work.

We have had the car back and now the screen wash is leaking from the connector on the front drivers side.

I took the fog light off as per this forum, and can see the leak but cannot unclip and clip the connector back in to see if that fixes it as it is inaccessible.

Would the work that Skoda have done meant that they needed could have caused this do you think, and if so could I go back to them to fix it. Rather annoying.

Nothing in that area would have been touched by them when working on the manifold.

That’s what I figured, any tips on how to best access this or is it a case of squeezing your hand in, unclipping and then reclipping

Try gaining access via the drivers side inner wheel arch liner instead.

You might need to remove the wheel, but one the liner is off you should get much better access.
