Eibach Pro-Kit/Sportline Kit Springs With DCC vRS245

Featured Replies

Hi, guys.

I have been reading through some threads but can't find exact information or who has done this combo.

Right now, I am running 19s with 235/35.  Not sure if I will need a camber kit and I read that some had to recalibrate so that the stock dampers won't have an issue with the new springs (and a possible adjustment to the self-levelling headlights.

I have the 2018 RS245 (FL).

I am considering either a pro or a sportline kit and potentially a set of ARB from Eibach.

The help is much appreciated.

I've got the same car as you and have had a Pro Kit and Whiteline anti roll bars plus Superpro front LCA poly bushes on it for about 20000km now with no problems. DCC does not need recalibration but the headlights will need adjusting. 235/35 will be fine if you're on stock rims, you don't need a camber kit. The ride is firmer but a bit of that usual "juddering" when you go over small bumps has gone. It also does wonders for the handling.

Hi, @StealthRS245!

Thank you for the response.

Do you have the ARBs front back?  Read somewhere here that some do only R.  I am inclined to install them on both.  Is yours set to stiff or medium?

As for the rims, I have aftermarket ones.  The Xtreme ones are 19x7.5 while mine are 19x8, so not sure if that will be an issue with the camber.

Are the bushings a necessary replacement or stock will do?

Where did you have them done?  Did the guys do the HL adjustment or did you diy it?

Apologies too many queries.

I got front and rear arbs but rear would be more than sufficient, I just got a good deal on both. Mine are set soft front and hard rear.

My rims are 19x8.5 45 offset. 245 tyres just scrape bit 235 are fine.

Bushings are not a must have but they tighten up the front end and get rid of pretty much all the left over wheel hop.

My dealer did the springs and the headlight adjustment.

Hope it helps!

Thanks, @stealthrs245!  I am going to keep you updated.  Your set-up seems to be a good route to go.  And The car is a daily driver, I am assuming?

When you said dealer, did you mean a Skoda dealership or your local tuner shop?

There are a couple out here, as you know.  PM me if that is easier.

Yep it is my daily, I had the springs done at my local Skoda dealer but probably wouldn't do that again, they charged quite a lot. Any competent Euro workshop should be able to do it for you. All the best with it👍
