Lane assist can it be switched off once and not every time

Featured Replies

I find the lane assist to be very annoying when it kicks in and I'm not on a motorway. I know it's only a few steering wheel button presses to disable it but doing every time you start the car is getting old. I can't find a menu option to leave it in off mode.

Have you tried this don't know if it will turn off till you switch on.

Found this in the owners manual

Setting Activation/deactivation in the instrument cluster In the display in the Assist systems menu item Setting in Infotainment In the menu:

Car button on Radio, settings, drivers aids/assist  ( I think ) untick lane assist ( should be 2 boxes )

Ah that kind of works, in that you can disable the vibrate alert and that stays off. Lane assist still comes on every time I start the car but it is much less annoying.
