skoda boot lock

Featured Replies

Hi everbody

I have just joined the ranks of being a skoda owner and have a couple of questions.

Firstly the boot lock, when i unlock the car(with the key not a remote sensor)the the boot won,t open,to open it i have to turn the key in the boot lock to the left and pull the handle at the same time.Has anyone experienced this before or is it the way it should be!

Secondly when the car is warm and idling it ticks over at between 600-900rpm sounds like it might cut out sometimes but does,nt and is a bit lumpy, otherwise it will cruise all day at all speeds with no problems, again has anyone any ideas. It is a 1998 1.6 and was last serviced 6000 miles ago,any help will be appreciated, otherwise the car is fantastic cheers scandy
