Rear caliper piston dust boot.

Featured Replies

Just noticed I have a tear in the piston boot....

Anybody ever changed one and how easy is it?? Seems I need to take the piston out to replace from what I've read. Its either that or I try and get some seal on it and monitor and replace the caliper if it goes in the future.

Haven't had the caliper off yet as haven't had chance.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers

PS Its on a VW van but most calipers are similar in the vag range so thought some of you may know.
