Hello, sorry for my english, im not an native speaker. I have a problem with Octavia mk2, year 2008. The rear view mirrors are not defrosting. Funktion for left, right, up, down is working and the rear window defrosting is working. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Thank you.

Don't be offended by my question but as you didn't say, have you put the mirror switch in the mirror heat position? Sometimes people don't realise it is there as tall drivers often can't see the picture behind the switch knob.

 

 

 

Yes i did do everything like the manual says.

Have you checked the fuse?

 

If the fuse is good, take the glass off and check for voltage at the terminals. It's very common for the terminals to corrode and give poor conductivity, a good going over with a wire brush could help.
