Update from SKODA

Featured Replies

I was going to see if there are any updated maps for the SKODA sat nav.

Anyway I have tried to get onto the update site but keep getting unavailable messages, is it just me or is there a problem.

I tried to get to a help site but it came up in what looked like czecoslovakian and google couldnt translate it.

If you have the latest version of satnav you need to download the 2016 Tiguan map from the VW site. Much more up to date, removes the twin speed limit issue and works fine in my yeti

Yup looks like it is down ... message now reads the following after inputting the VIN

We are sorry, it is currently not possible to download updates from Update portal. We are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. In the meantime, thank you for your understanding.

Theres no point in downloading the skoda map anyway as it is out of date and displays dual speed limits.

Is the update process exactly the same as described in the Skoda website for their map updates?

Can't recall exactly, but I had no problems uploading to the skoda sd card in the same way I guess the true skoda one does it.

Do you have Amundsen or Columbus?

If the latter, see this thread...

There is a direct download link in the first post.
