electric windows not working from drivers side switch

 

all open on their individual switches

 

fitted a new switch but still the same

 

old switch is working fine in another car

 

got me beat

 

The door will have a controller which is what the switch pack will talk too - I'm not familiar with the Fab II but suspect that it is probably built into the Window Motor.

 

Have you tried to drop the battery off for an extended period which will reset the module?

 

I would also recommend VCDS or some other diagnostic tool that can talk to the door module.

Broken wires in the door loom could also cause this sort of problem. They’re quite common to fail near the hinge inside the rubber boot.
