DRL not working after replace lamps

Featured Replies

Hello,

First of all, please excuse the bad English. I'm from Sweden but there is no good Swedish Skoda forum, so I'll try my luck here instead.

I have a Roomster 5J from 2012 with the original DRL/fogs fitted and yesterday the driver side bulb decided to die. I replaced it as I have done before and now both sides are dead.

Bad / Broken bulbs? No, I fitted the new one in the turning signal and it works...

Fuse? I don't know. Isn't it the same fuse as the radio? Don't have the number in my head.

The fogs works ...

I don't even know where to start looking for errors here.

All advices are appreciated.

Thank you!

/Martin

I think DRLs was fuse #35, but I'm not sure...could be that #35 was side/parking lamp.

I have already checked fuse and it is not burned. I will check with multi-electrical equipment later.. i find this very strange.

Our fogs-DRLs are the same as on the facelift Fabia II, so maybe check in that forum as well?

Didn't know that. Than you!

Today I measured the lamp socket with an VOM Multitester and nothing. Dead in lamp socket. So I replaced the fuse with a new one 7.5A, and now it works.

This is so strange as the old/original (?) fuse is not burnt.

Thanks all!
