Wing mirror problem

Featured Replies

Having a few problems with my wing mirrors just wondering if anybody having the same the demister on the the driver side wing mirror doesn’t seem to be working with the cold nights last week couldn’t see out of the mirror passenger side was ok also as I live in the countryside I use a lot of small roads and so keep my wing mirrors closed in as have lost a few in other cars over the years being clipped but sometimes when I turn the thumb wheel for this it doesn’t work I have to turn it a few times to get it work just wondering if it is a characteristic of the car lol 😂

From the description that you give and what mine does it sounds like you may have a fault in the system somewhere which should be covered under the warranty.

I have noticed on mine that the mirrors do seem to demist at different rates (passenger seems quicker) however both do demist with no issues.

Same for the folding, on mine they fold in no issues and both at the same rate.  Given that the de-mist and mirror fold are on the same control it could be the fault lies here?

Describe the symptoms and how to re-produce and let the garage fault find, a good franchised dealer will quickly locate the fault and be able to fix.

Hope this helps?
