Error

Featured Replies

Hello.

I have Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI CLRB  2015 MY.

Checked my vehicle with OBD2 scanner and see such error:

Does anybody has idea what it is and how can be fixed?

Would be nice to visit my Dealer with knowing reason (or at least to have more clues) in advance.

Thanks in advance

Sounds to me like the heating element for windscreen washer nozzle. Maybe a damaged wire shorting to the chassis?

Sounds to me also so. How can I check that - that's the question...

Firstly I would reset the code and see if it returns, it could be a glitch. Then it is a matter of tracing the wires from the washer jets back to the main electrics. Likely places to find a fault are where there is flexing (bonnet hinge area etc).

I've tried to reset - it reappears. Just thinking - can't replacement of nozzles help?

Only if the fault is in the nozzle! I would be a bit surprised if it was, normally I would expect a heater to fail open circuit, not short circuit. But anyway, you can test it by removing the connector and checking the resistance of the heating element with a multimeter. Not sure exactly what it should be but I would have thought more than 10 ohms, more like 20-30. It is zero or just 1-2 ohms, it is faulty. As you have 2 nozzles you can compare the resistance, they should be roughly the same.

it could b referring to the heater element either in the:-

- windscreen washer spray nozzle

or
- headlight washer spray nozzle

I don't have headlight spray nozzles. So it should be somehow related to windscreen nozzles

Sorry didn't get you. I don't have installed anything else like Webasto etc.
