I am just awaiting on a Octavia SE L Estate. Due delivery in next ? weeks

 

A few things I am asking of:

 

1.  I use a NextBase Dash Cam.  Where is the best place to plug it in? (Didn't have a good look when at dealers! 😞 )

 

2.  Anyone have a pic of the multicoloured trip  computer display?

 

3.  How good are the LED headlights and cornering lights?

 

4. General overall impressions of the SE L  spec?

 

Oh yes, do you have the heated seats the wife says ( We had to have them, a must!)

Dash cams are best hard wired in, route the wire along the headlining above the windscreen, down the A-pillar trim and into the fuse box on the end of the dashboard. Piggyback off the 5 amp rear wiper fuse for a switched rather than permanent live feed i.e. on and off with the ignition.

The LED headlights are likely to be a marked improvement over anything you've experienced before, unless you're downgrading.

Getting to that time of year , when the winter pack & heated steering wheel , really make it [for us] a less daunting winter experience !
