ECM fault?

Featured Replies

Last week rat's wrecked some of the cable's under the hood and now my 2006 1.9 TDI has an odd issue that about 25-30 km/h the engine jerks continuously until the speed surpasses 30 km/h. The mechanic said one of the cut cable caused short circuit and the ECM memory loss error code appeared and advised to use the vehicle for two weeks saying often this issue may be resolved on it's own( I'm really not inclined with his advise) but the issue persist.
