Hi

I’ve  been a lurker for a while. I’ve just changed from a mk2 Octavia elegance 54reg which had been my dads from new and I had it the last 3 years.
Both my wife and myself was impressed by it that when we changed it had to be another Octavia, so we managed to find a 2015 Black Edition with low miles and good condition.

But we miss some of the spec from the elegance so I’ve already started sourcing parts for the auto lights/wipers and auto dimming interior mirror. Will be fitting the parts over the next few days and then will need to see about getting it coded.

I will see if there is anyone local who can help me with the coding just now but I will be looking at getting VCDS at some point as we have 4 VAG cars in the family now.

I stay in Falkirk Central Scotland.

cheers

Graeme

Hi Guys

thanks for the welcome  🖐️

Today I’ve fitted an automatic dimming interior rear view mirror and fitted a rain and light sensor so I just need to run a wire from the new light switch and get the auto lights coded.

Ive also just ordered a 3 spoke steering wheel with the multi function switches on it. I made a cheeky offer on eBay for it and the seller accepted. Not sure if I can get the switches working but I’ll give it a try.

Cheers

Graeme
