Citigo first car advice

Featured Replies

Hi everyone!

I've been hoping to buy a Citigo as my first car after reading lots of positive reviews. I recently went for a test drive of the 2016 Greentech model at a local Skoda dealer and liked how it seemed.

It's done about 17,500 miles and was priced at £5,995. After some talking they said the lowest they would be willing to go was £5,500. It has a full service history and has recently passed it's first MOT with no advisories. It also comes with the standard 12 month warranty and roadside assistance etc.

I'm not too clued up on whether or not that would be an okay price, I was also a bit concerned that because the Citigo will be discontinued soon, there may be the potential for spare parts becoming expensive and hard to source in the future. So if anyone knows about the likelihood of that I'd really appreciate it and any/all advice regarding the offer.

Thanks everyone!

It is relatively quiet in here, you will get a better response over in the dedicated Citigo thread here..

For your budget there are better value cars out there. Two years younger, half the mileage and better looking than the Greentech...
