Which version of VCDS and which cable is compatible with new Superb Mk3 facelift (October 2019)

I have VAG COM 16.8 VCDS HEX CAN USB and I'm not sure will this work for me? 

 

Please let me know which version I have to buy and which cable?

You need a genuine hex-v2 or hex-net for a 2019 car.

What about software version?

Just like all genuine cables, both will work with the latest version and allow updates when new versions come out. The software is free to download from rosstech.

 

At the moment, I believe the latest is 19.6.2.

If a cable specifies a VCDS software version or comes with a CD (especially if the CD has a cross eyed panda on the cover) then it's 99.99999999% probable that it's a fake clone.
