When my keys are in my house my car will still open when someone touches the handle . Is this a fault as my car is in driveway at night ...

sounds like a fault, and a worrying one to me.

kessy should only operate if the key is within 1.5m from the car.

Something is definitely wrong. I tested mine when I got it and 1.5 metres is the absolute maximum distance where I could get it to open. Just a thought (and not meaning to sound disrespectful) but is it possible you've left one of the spare keys in the car?

 

It would also be worth checking if it starts as well as unlocking. On mine, if I stand outside the car and try to start it with my left foot on the brake, it gives a "key out of range" warning and will not start. 

Thanks all for the help . The car will open but not start unless the key inside the car .so back the the dealership to sort out .

I've took this from the manual for the facelift Superb. It was also in the manual for my last Octavia

 

Deactivating keyless unlocking and locking › Lock the vehicle with the button  on the key. › Within 5 s, touch the sensor on the door handle with your  finger. Deactivation is  confirmed  by a single  flash  of the direction indicators. › To check the deactivation, wait at least 10 seconds and then pull the door handle. The door must remain locked. Keyless unlocking and locking is automatically activated once again after the vehicle is unlocked.
