Heated mirror not working

Featured Replies

Hi All

Passenger side heated mirror not heating up.

Checked voltage and no power getting to the mirror  / connectors.

Mirror has some resistance but not too high so seems to be ok.

Drivers side mirror working ok.

Where can I check now? Are they fused per side etc?

Cheers

Dave

Have a look at the wiring loom that goes through the door may be a broken wire there.

Not sure about fuses would of thought if it was a fuse that would supply both mirrors.

Steve.

Have you taken the mirror glass off? It just pops off if you find a YouTube video. Use a non marring trim removal tool.

Then look at it and I think I read they either rust up or the circuit blackens or something. The YouTube clips will clarify.

My research concluded it is the glass the needs replacing as the elements have had it.

They're fused off one fuse, so the other wouldn't work.

I just need to visit my dealer for prices as I'm not sure I will trust the cheap eBay ones.
