Wheel damage what to do

The wife has managed to curb both off side wheels ("I coughed and accidentally hit the traffic island whilst turning right") leaving the rear looking particularly worse for wear and I'm in a quandry about what to do. First off, the rear looks like the wheel has a bit of a kink where she knocked it ... does it look like it would still technically be safe to use or not (see pic)?

 

I've noticed she has knocked the tracking out so if it obvs took a bit of a knock what sort of other things should be checked for damage wise? Nothing else feels funny so should that be that?

 

Even if it's 'safe', I'm wondering about replacing some or possibly even all the wheels (front nearside wheel has a bit of minor curbing too, so that's three out of four marked) and am wondering about getting shot of the original wheels altogether, owing to the diamond cut finish and the fact that they seem to sit proud of the tires and therefore seem really prone to damage.

 

When it comes to aftermarket alloy sets though, how much do you need to spend to ensure you're not getting sub-oem quality? For example, there are ok looking sets on wheelbasealloys.com ( site any good?) for £500 a set but is that much too low a price point to be going in at if I'm wanting something of a decent quality?

 

Also, I'm not wanting to be forced into changing tyres at this stage. I don't go for winters and my current tyres are still under 5k miles of wear. How common is the standard wheel size or am I going to find all / most after market options are a bit wider for example and will therefore need new tyres?

£500/600 is enough to pay to get decent quality after market.You pay more for bigger/flashier looking/lightweight track types.

What size are your existing tyres/wheels?

Cheers.  Yeh I should have said. I have the 18" so I think they are 18 X 7.5. that sort of price range is fine because cheapest I can find the official wheels for is £216 a wheel I think so over £600 for 3 and over £800 for 4. 

 

Tyres are just standard size that ship with those wheels.

Why not just get them all refurbed, but ditch the diamond cut?

You'll be looking at more like £250 to get them all done.

When you replace your tyres get something with better rim protection.

I believe Eagle F1s are pretty good, I've certainly found them good for that.

Not sure how that works. I thought because they were diamond cut the only option in terms of repair / refurb was having them recut (i.e. where they basically shave off a layer and refinish them) and the curbing is pretty deep on some (almost nearly 10mm deep on the offside rear I think) and I didn't think you could have that much shaved off them, you see. Am I missing something?

You can have it refurbished normally, you'll lose the diamond cut effect, it'll just be a single colour, but it'll be way cheaper.

I got my Honda wheels done last year, they all had some kerbing on and the result was really good!  £50 each

 

Obviously not diamond cut to start with but if you're not fussed then they'll just bead blast it and it'll soften out the edges.
