Hi, on Ali Express today I saw an Item, 2 wiring looms with 4 plugs and an interconnecting cable between them that it says turns the Stop / start off permanently. If it does or does not I do not know but there is a demo video showing a simple fit procedure and the end result. I have driven at least 4 long term stop / starters including now my MY20  Karoq and have no issues using it, so I wont be adopting this, but it may be of interest to those who are frustrated turning it off every journey.

As a matter of interest....what are the 12 tweaks?

Off the top of my head they included these:-

 

Beeps when locking/unlocking.

Gauge needle-sweep at startup.

Temperature Adjustment for Hot Countries (lowers aircon temperature - it originally read 8.3 degrees, now it reads 6.3 degrees).

Disable Stop/Start.

Scandinavian Rear Lights DRL activation (rear LED lights activate with the front DRLs).

Show A/C blower speed when in auto climate control.

Refuel Quantity selectable on driver’s maxidot display.
Flash hazard lights when emergency stopping.
