Dab radio has stopped working

Featured Replies

Hello

After 48 hours trying to find answers on this site, I have decided to make an account an post my problem, hoping someone will be able to help.

Basically I have lost dab radio.

I still have fm and am but dab has disappeared.

This has happened twice.

First time I couldnt access the radio and it was because my Bluetooth was connected from car to phone. Once this was turned off I was able to access the radio.

Second time and is current as I write,  I started my car on Monday morning to go to work and my radio, Bluetooth,  ipod via USB and nav wasn't working.

During the 40min drive I tried a current update I had on my sd card. This did nothing.

I then disconnected the Bluetooth, still nothing.

Every now and then my ipod would work.

Then I decided to factory reset my radio and the dab disappeared.

Once I reached my destination I leave the car for about 5 minutes and when I came back everything seemed to be working again apart from the dab radio.

In past 48 hours I have done the following and nothing gas worked :

re scan radio

soft reset by holding the power button.

Wiped my sd card and downloaded any new software from the skoda site.

(only the phone Bluetooth would update,  maps and radio logos would not load after multiple attempts.)

Held in the menu button,  then updates, then tuner, then dab and clicked on the two options. Both say everything is fine but stilll show no dab radio.

I'm completely exhausted and just don't know what else I can do.

Please help 😞
