Not sure if I’m being stupid but used my nav on full screen in the virtual cockpit tonight and thought it would show up directions on the screen. Instead these are shown on the main infotainment screen still. Is there a way to show the next direction on the vc rather than just a wide screen map?

I think that you have to touch map at the bottom of the screen and it changes things. 

 

But the maps are so unreliable that I seldom use it, I use Google Maps and Android Auto instead.

Ta, been playing around with it this morning and sort of got what I want on screen but have to change to a different vc view via the infotainment screen which is a bit of a faff. Was hoping to have the full map screen vc on the dash but with next directions/guidance  showing as well but doesn’t seem possible. I’ll get used to it.

I take it you know how to set the views and you can have lane guidance inside the round dials. You can set different information within the dials.  Range/speedo/ Average MPG etc etc

Yep I have that sorted thanks. There is one view that’s the entire vc  as a map. It’s that one that I’d like to have show route guidance but doesn’t seem possible. I like the big map. The other views that allow route guidance inside a dial mean you can only display a small map between the dials.
