Hi,

 

Does anyone know where the reversing light switch is on a 2013 Rapid?

The lights keep cutting out when I reverse. This also affects the display on the radio so I'm thinking it’s that reversing switch as opposed to the rear lights themselves.

 

Please help.

Can't find the location even in the pdfs I linked the other day.

Its code in the pdfs is F4, it's linked to the big computer control unit, has a black and white wire going there, and is feed by a black and purple wire from fuse 30 in the box under the dash.... but where it actually is.... pass. Sorry. I'd start by getting underneath and looking for the right colour wires, or maybe lifting the gear stick surround.

Gearbox code from the build data sticker (on boot floor near spare wheel well, and/or in service book) would be a fine start to researching this.
