North west V C D S

Featured Replies

Could any kind soul put me in touch with someone or carry out the following V C D S coding

1 - Enable the doors to be locked while the engine is running (this is for de-icing/warming up purposes only) I understand fully that this is technically illegal however there are Volvo/Mercedes apps out there that allow you to start your engine without ever opening the doors, if its good enough for them its good enough for me, so please don't tell me its illegal or to be more environmentally friendly or that I should wear a hat and gloves.

2 - Override the stupid stop/start function, I understand about emissions so please don't tell me whats its there for, I would sooner not load the starter motor and the rest when I stop at a set of lights.

3 - Turn off virtual pedal  (don't ask) and keep electronic  boot opening/closing function from inside the car and from the remote. Skoda uk told my maid dealer this is not possible ( do you know better?)

4 - Turn on high beam assist (I don't have an option for it in the setting and not noticed it working (so I presume I do not have it)

I have contacted several V C D S  owners from the map but not had much luck? (no response, no longer doing it, I will get back to you)

I am more than happy to take the car (17 plate Skoda superb L&K) and pay the going rate for the work to be carried out within a 70 mile radius or Warrington anytime/anyplace provided the person doing the work knows exactly what they are doing.

Thank you in advance and if you can't help thanks for taking the time to read this post and have a merry Christmas and a happy new year

I understand that there is a map, I have used it on four occasions and had only one reply and no follow up message from that reply, I did have another reply saying no longer does vcds.

If I am doing something wrong I click on the vcds owner send them a message.

In total 5 messages sent two replies but still cant get the work done

For this my advice is unplug the battery monitor cable from one of the battery terminals. Worked a treat on the SWMBO’s Leon TSI.

Battery cannot be monitored by the car thus it can’t turn engine off any longer. No programming needed. Just tuck cable away nicely. Took me ages to find this solution rather than a memory button on the dash. It was on a Golf forum or web page somewhere.

Don’t know if you ever got an answer to this but if you can come to Anglesey then I can do it for you.

1) yes this is possible, if you want to do it please bring at least 2 working keys so I can test this during coding.

2) this is also possible but it will be a permanent disable of the s/s via coding. If you want the button to still work but the car to have a memory so it defaults to off instead of on then you will need extra hardware for this.

3) in theory the virtual pedal is possible to disable but I would have to test on your car before I could say it’s 100% possible. Closing of the boot via the button and key fob are both possible as well as disabling the beeps.

4) do you have lane assist and what model year is the car? The answer to these questions will depend on whether this and TSR will be possible.

There are many other things that may be possible, please drop me a pm if you want to arrange something next weekend or over the Christmas period as I’m off from Saturday until the 6th of Jan :)
