Deleting engine ECU adaptations Octavia III 1.4 TSI CZDA

Featured Replies

Hi,

Sorry for maybe a dumb question bo how to delete engine ECU adaptations n 1.4 TSI CZDA? I'm using VCDS 19.6.1 and when I'm trying to choose this option in Basic Settings it says "Running" for a while and then it says "Stopped | out of time break" (or something like this). But when  choose "Throttle alignment test" t also says "Running" and after a moment it says "Finished | system OK" (or something like this). Should I press any pedal or do anything else to make option of deleting/resetting engine adaptations work in Basic settings just as throttle alignment test works?

Might be worth updating your VCDS to 19.6.2 as 19.6.1 had several bugs which may or may not affect what you are trying to do.

Thanks PetrolDave but there isn't version 19.6.2 in polish. On polish distributor's site there is 19.6.1 as newest one.

Worth downloading and using the English VCDS 19.6.2 (use the link above) to check your problem isn't caused by the bugs in 19.6.1 - it will install alongside your Polish 19.6.1 and both will work OK.

Then your best bet is to signup to the Ross-Tech Forum so you can ask the VCDS developers directly
