Rear driver's door won't lock, I believe something has been changed in VCDS because beeping on unlock had been turned on and other irritating things

 

If anyone could walk me though how to fix this it would be great

 

Car is a 07 fabia vre SE

Replace the lock unit.

I have two and they're still working just fine, if an original unit lasts about 12 years then a cheap one lasts at least another 5 or 6 then that's good enough.
