Superb 2006 2 litre diesel.

Featured Replies

Hi all thanks for letting me join. I'm  having a bit trouble with the above car ( 1st skoda ever). Gear linkage keeps going slack and cant get gears. Traced it down to some kind of pivot bush on the side of the box (its appears to be rods and not cables). Anyway the nut seems to be repeatedly coming slack .

Need to know are thesepivit bushes easy to change and how do you line the gearstick into the correct position so it goes into all gears. Just got car last week and has receipt for a new clutch a few months ago. Thanks in advance for any help

I'd take it back to the seller to fix! Sounds like something not put back correctly after the clutch was changed

I bought it after the clutch was done so no chance of the warranty.  It last 2 days then the nut comes loose and lose all the gears. Tried new nut and lasted 2 days . Going to try the arms that the nut secures. Got tho love a good game of parts darts
