I have just taken delivery of a new 2020 spec Superb SEL,  shes only done 20 miles so far but I have noticed  a judder on pulling away on 1st on the DSG gearbox, is this a known issue and can it be solved?

What engine? It shouldn’t judder but 1.5 TSI’s have had issues with a loss of power/judder/hesitation when pulling away...but that should be fixed now.

If you pull away with a heavyish throttle foot and too much lock on the steering it will judder, happens with FWD cars. Just a thought.

Its a 1.5 tsi, happening with no steering lock.

Go back to the supplying dealer and demonstrate the problem and ask if the car has had ‘the fix’  for the 1.5 TSI issues (if it’s that). If they play dumb and say there’s no known issues then just refer them to the official recall program by VW group themselves.  Do a search and you’ll find enough info, might also help you confirm if other user experiences are the same as your own. 

This *might* be of relevance. Don’t want to alarm you but something for you to query with the dealer.

I read that the recall was the manual gearbox to correct the "kangourou" problem.
