Hi need some help, where could I source the edge protection trim that runs along the doors, my rear passenger side one has come away at the end and got bent when I opened the door. any help would be appreciated.

I believe you're looking for 1Z0 853 535 A - see parts diagram for 2012 Octy here.  A search on fleabay or a Skoda dealer should produce what you need.

 

Might be worth a peek at skoda-parts.com to see what they can do.
