Hi all,

Does anyone know of an aftermarket intercooler that fits the 1.2 monte carlo? I will be chipping it soon and would also like an intercooler too.

I have found ones for the VRS, any idea if they fit?

Our engines uses a air to water intercooler so upgrading it is a little tricky, i've found a post that talks about a intercooler upgrade on a 1.4 tsi CAXA engine which is pretty similar to ours and I believe uses the same charge cooler system, in the post they used a Peugeot 207 1.6 turbo intercooler claiming it had a higher volume and was more than capable of handling 200hp, they also had to use modified tubing but the pictures are gone, I'm considering getting this upgrade on my car if I can figure out how to make it work.

Is the intercooler pipes on the 1.2 tsi similar to the layout of the 1.4tfsi?
