Real world fuel consumption for the 190 Tsi Petrol

Featured Replies

Morning all.

Can anyone tell me what sort of mileage they are getting from a tank full of petrol on the above please.

Thanks in advance

Same engine in my Kodiaq is doing 350 to 400 miles on a tank which is mid 30s mpg. You should be doing much better than that in your superb.

In the absence of any replies from 190 owners, my 272 is giving me 400-450 miles between fill-ups.

Majority of my driving is motorway where having the 7th gear definitely helps economy and usually use Shell V-power.

According to the car my average mpg since I got it is 38.6, although I haven't done any manual calculations to check how accurate that actually is.

Thank you after much deliberation and searching I have managed to source a 190 tdi Sportline plus DSG 4x4 estate

If the prices for diesel Superbs are similar to where I live, you'll have got yourself  bargain. My dealership had diesel Superbs for sale at prices well below those of equivalent petrol cars.

I picked up a Meteor Grey Sportline Estate 4x4 DSG 190 tdi with virtual cockpit and factory fit towbar ( great bit of kit) 6 months old with 5k miles an ex Skoda UK car.

Hasn't quite got all the bells and whistles that my SEL had such as Heated windscreen, parking camera ( missing both of these already)  not really missing lane assist, Auto high beam and the heated rear seats and auto parking which I seldom used.

Will probably look at getting a rear camera fitted in due course.

Have to say looked at quite a few and narrowed the choice down to a demo L&K facelift and the Sportline.

Happy with the choice.
