When was this introduced? I coded it out on my Dad’s 2019 Seat Ibiza as he didn’t want it on the car.

There's been much discussion on the Ross-Tech website and the current theory is that it was from firmware version AC IIRC.

So nothing i can do / change in order to deactivate start / stop function ?

 

tried this :

 

·         Go to Module 19 (Can Gateway)

·         Adaption

·         Go to  Kanaal: Start_stop_voltage_limit

·         change to  12.1V ( standaard is 7.6V)

 

And start / stop still working 😕

VAG/Skoda have changed the firmware in the latest BCM's to make the disabling of start/stop not work any more - something to do with emissions/WLTP.
