Digital Dash Customisation

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 68 plate kodiaq. My question is on the digital dash. A few weeks ago I was bored and messing around in menus and happened to change a setting or customisation so that the digital dash on the modern look displayed the long term driving data (as you can see in the pic, top left and middle left; driving time and consumption). I can't figure out how to change this back to the since start data. Long term data is largely irrelevant to me and I liked having the since start data displaying to see how much time I have wasted commuting!

Thanks.

I have the VC in my Octavia Vrs. I don't think you can change the settings in Auto or Classic,  you need to alter things in one of the other views and use that view.

Yeah seen that, the issue I have is that I can't get the driving data to show since start, It shows long term i.e. long term consumption and long term driving time.

I have tried navigating lots of different menus but doesn't seem to work.

In the menu you posted there isn't an option to change the data to since start, short or long term.

I'm out in the car later, I'll have a play and get back to you.  Just a thought, if you press " Car " on the Radio you get a picture of you car on the screen Is the information you require there.

Had a play around myself but still can't figure it out. The menus don't seem to let you change whether long or short term or since start is shown. But I've done it somehow as I used to have since start displayed but now it's long term...

On my 245 with the VC  in Classic view and I press the view Button ( on the steering wheel ) twice I get the display in your first post but where yours says " Long term " Mine says Since start "

Perhaps you can select it in either View 1, 2 or 3 by swiping the dials up or down as described in my first post

Doesn't work like that I've tried. Seems to be no way to swap since start/long term/short term. Annoying as described originally I liked having since start data. Thanks for looking though!

Maybe you need to configure the short term setting in one of the other menus and that then gets picked up in the VC menu which you’re concerned about?

Thanks for looking into it all. I've tried a number of things but can't change long term to since start. I'll wait until someone has an answer otherwise I'll endure with long term showing!

I’ve got the same, opposite, problem in my Scala only I’d rather see the long term data. Has anyone solved it? Tia

At least on the generation the topic was started about, it should be easy.

If I remember correctly...

Select any view which allows you to select the middle, for example classic and go to "Driving data" then "Overview" which should look something like this:

By clicking the right (?) roller, that should change from since start, since refuelling or long term. When you return to your favourite view, it should show the same data :)

Yes! Amazing, thank you. I had been searching for this for so long.
