Featured Replies

has any one had a problem with their tcs light? i leave the car for a couple of days go to turn the car on, turn the key  car will not start and tcs light comes on turn.turn key completely of and turn car on again car starts no problem and no tcs light if i use the car every day problem does not appear only when i leave car for a couple of days, any help would be appreciated.cheers

It will need scanning with VCDS really to see if any fault codes are present, however it could be a sign of the battery going. Has it ever been replaced? I see that you have a 2011, my original battery has just failed on mine, an early 2011 model so yours could be on its way.

the battery is a 2016 varta so i,m not sure if the battery is good or not but it starts fine when okay it only happens if the car has been sitting for  a while????? thanks for replyng 👍

that is a bit of a strange one, does the varta have the little eye you can look at to check battery health? might be worth looking on the VCDS vowners map to see if there is someone local to give it a scan. Im up in Shaftesbury so a fair trek away but there should be somke more local members.

checked battery indicator seems okay, thanks for trying any way but i think the only way is to get it scanned at a garage.
