Hi folks when I press the cruise control on my vrs it’ stays at speed but drops to D4 so about 3000revs not 1900 that it was before pressing button any advise would be much appreciated 

See you haven't got an answer for this. The the man to speak to is Dan the VAG Doctor just west of Carlisle in Brampton which isn't that far from you. It should behave normally. Dan will plug it in and has retrofitted loads of Cruise controls so will know what a fix is.
