I have a Skoda Octavia 2004 1.9c diesel 70,000 miles now. Worked like a charm. The only thing was the A/C controller board backlights were occasionally not working, after a while I got an Alarm while driving back home "Check Alternator".  So I took it to halfords who recommended a free battery life check which they said the alternator was fine. Then after a few days the wipers were starting on there own! Even if I switched them off they went bazinga crazy!. This stopped after while, 

 

Now the AC is not working when switched on to 1,2 and 3 setting. Only setting working is full power 4!. 

 

Any Idea were I should be looking to fix this problem? an exorcist?

A "proper auto electrician"; find one on Yell.com.
