Hello friends, I noticed a small crack appearing on the roof of my Superb 2016 model. It is just besides the sun roof and I think it's growing in length. Picture attached. How serious is this ? Can this be corrected, if yes how expensive would that be.

Is it in the paint or the glass?

 

That looks to have originated from underneath the rubber seal...

 

What warranty do you get from Skoda India? If it is the same as the UK then I'm guessing your 3 year manufacturers warranty has just run out?

 

Here we have a 12 year anti-perforation warranty but the T&C's are pretty water tight, and only covers corrosion from the inside out.

If it's metal cracking. It looks like it could be a very bad body repair or a major chassis problem... 

The second option should deserve an extra warranty from Skoda. Not normal at all. But it will be hard to prove it. It may be a looooong experts battle...
