Isn't that the optional "Black Pack" car comes with black mirrors and black grille surround instead of body coloured mirrors and chrome grille surround.

I think you're right.

 

Black mirrors, black grill but also the small black lip spoiler on the bootlid.

Right, I've pulled the trigger on race blue, the black one was still available but they wanted another £195 for a factory spare wheel and I can get one for less on ebay! Black looks good but is a nightmare to clean, so I think I'll be happy with Race Blue. Thanks to everyone that has made suggestions, posted pics and commented.

Yep, just found out the same on Skoda UK website. Black mirror housing only on 1.5tsi SE-L hatch.   How odd.

Yep and despite this, the dealer has told me that the car won't have any chrome and will have body coloured mirrors! 🤣 I think I'll just wait and see!

Just find a nearly new Race Blue on someones forecourt then swap 'em. It's only us nerds that'd notice the difference anyway. 

 

Edit - just a thought...  it's defo the 1.5tsi they've ordered?

Edit - just another thought...  perhaps it's a stock car before the specs were changed.

I'm getting an SE Drive in a few  days - its Race Blue and black grill, spoiler etc. (I hope!) because its the 1.5 TSI version not the smaller engine.

All I know is that it's a brand new car that's currently in a UK port, beyond that your guess is a good as mine! 

If it where me I'd go for Silver ... quite like the look of the Silver one above.
