Is the current downloafd for Mib 2 Columbus on the map update portal a new one. I currently have ECE2019/20 loaded on my Columbus. I have downloaded ECE 2020 from the download portal and unpacked it to my usual SD card but Columbus tells me there is no data. Could this be because the download on the portal is not a new one?

Download the latest maps from the VW satellite navigation website, use the Golf GTi as your car model, choose Discover Pro system and download those maps.

 

Then try installing them as you would normally do.

Columbus doesn't likje anything else in the root directory of the SD Card used does it?

 

I only had a 128gb card with films on it and Columbus couldn't find the update file.

 

Moved the films to my desktop and tried again and hey presto! I now have 2020 maps - eventually.
