Hi all.

Trying to fit a Dash cam with switched power supply in a karoq edition.

I was going to use the rear wiper fuse but the piggy back with two fuses in doesn't fit.

 

Any tried and tested fuse recommendations?

Have you tried fitting the piggy back connector the other way up?  Had the same problem with my Fabia with other fuses getting in the way.  Turned the piggy back connector upside down and it fitted and worked fine.

Had the same issue on my Kodiaq, I was forced to use a mini fuse instead.

 

The blue 15A rear wiper fuse on the lowest row is sandwiched between two much larger fuses for the electrically operated and heated front seats...

 

 

 

 

 

Thanks form the replies guys, I'll give it another bash tomorrow during daylight hours.

I tried using the phone charging pad fuse but although the phone stopped charging with ignition off the Dashcam stayed on, couldn't figure it out....

It took me ages to find a proper switched live.

 

A lot of what I expected to be switched lives were in fact permanent lives.
