Elegance 2013,this just come on dash all lights still working could it be the sensor if so i take it its behind the mirror and its the rain sensor as well, any one got a parts number please or could it be the switch thanks and happy new year

Rather than trying to second guess you really need to scan the car for fault codes.

Do you have or know anyone with an OBD fault code reader, i.e. VCDS, OBDeleven, Carista etc.?

Tried that no codes show up so will probably have to take it to be read, thanks anyway

What are you using to read the fault codes?

Is your car a MK2 FL or MK3 as both could be a 2013 car?

Hi mk 3 july 2013,basic reader, when it gets dark then i get the fault message when first engine first turned on, thanks

Hello , my brother has biught kodiak with matrix led lights. One of the problem is that high beam don't light up automatically and there is option to enable it on the menu. I have read somewere that someone had the same problem , but in tme meatime recieved an ota update and the function appeard . I have an obd11 but can't connect the car because of rhe newer protection so I was wondering how I could enable it. Another thing is if it would be possible to enable the inner rear stop lights. First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Local dealership said it would cost £300 to upgrade my maps and suggested that there are better options them then for this! After lots of online research I decided to update the firmware from H4120 to 5274. I have the zipped file RNS_510_FW_5274_update.iso and have burned this to a DVD at lowest speed. When I put the DVD in the unit (no keys in iginition) it whirs around and then after 20-30 seconds comes back with a CD/DVD error. The unit will play a normal music

For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car.
