Clutch

Featured Replies

Hello can anyone tell me if my clutch on my Skoda Fabia 1.6 Monte Carlo has a dual mass flywheel or is it single .its getting quite high miles and pondering if it’s worth getting a newer car ,any help will be gratefully appreciated.

Well that shouldn’t be that expensive thanks for your reply .

I was quoted £145+ vat for one even though my standard clutch was fine at over 200bhp and 83k as the box was out anyway getting a diff.

I decided on a £650 race clutch 😂

Mines on 94000 miles probably nothing for a diesel car but it’s like looking after a little kid with the dpf regen,I’ve had a egr  valve fitted maybe getting on for 20k ago but think it could be going again as it sometimes doesn’t click (cleaning)when you switch engine off .i was going to map it out but I was advised not too for the dpf filter .nice car by the way 😁👍.

my dpf and egr fell off 30k ago 🤣

Quite common I bet 😂

If you are kind to the clutch it should last you well over 100k.

Mine's got its head kicked in and still had plenty left on it 🤣

Clutches are like partners... Some people abuse them and get through loads, others go steady for years!
