Traffic Sign Recognition and High Beam Assist

Featured Replies

Hi,

Ive just got a 2017 Superb L&K and love it! From reading on here I think I could get TSR and HBA added by coding as I have the right hardware already. What are my options/costs for getting this done,  are Skoda dealers generally expensive for this sort of thing?

Cheers Andy

HBA can be done with either the basic camera (20) or the high spec camera (A5),  but TSR needs the high spec camera (A5).

Which do you have?

I don't think a Skoda Dealer will activate these, both are paid options ( HBA £ 150ish / TSR £100ish ) and I don't think they are allowed to do it. You need a friendly member with VCDS, payment is usually a box of beers or wine

Hi Dave,  I've got the L & K model with Lane Assist so I believe I'll have the higher spec camera?

Yes, Lane Assist needs the high spec camera.
